His wife added beautiful, functional fabrics, and the overall aesthetics caught the attention of other parents in the Peregos' small Italian neighborhood. They were inundated with requests by neighbors for carriages of their own, and Peg Perego was born. Before long, the company was introducing high chairs, strollers, and other juvenile products. With each new product, the family commitment to quality continued. Always thinking forward, Peg Perego has never rested on past products or designs; it continues to stay current with parents' changing needs and new research that highlights the health and safety of infants and juveniles. Best Christmas Present So Far
By M. Hill
I bought this for my 5-year-old for Christmas over the Power Wheels since it has an 85 lb. weight limit versus 65 lbs. for the Power Wheels. That, coupled with the free extended 2 year warranty, and I was hooked. Assembly was a challenge since there are no written instructions and just pictures, but I did it by myself in about an hour without calling in a male to help me. We live in the city, so our initial terrain is sidewalks. After going the 2.5 mph speed so he could get the feel of it, we switched to 5 mph. Of course, he loved the faster speed and I got my exercise chasing him. I'm very pleased with my purchase and I know he won't outgrow this anytime soon even though he's already 4 feet tall.

P.S. I also purchased the rubber bands from traction bands dot com to help extend the life of the wheels.

P.P.S. The hand grips are a bit of a challenge to put on. A quick spray of some Pam cooking spray inside and they slid right on.

Peg Porego Polaris Outlaw 4 wheeler
By Jen K
We got this for our almost 4 year old son for Christmas. He LOVES it and it's very easy for him to drive. Love that he can have a "4 wheeler" without it being one of those heavy, more dangerous models. I thought at 2.5 and 5 miles per hour that it might be kind of slow but it actually goes pretty fast. I also like the 85lb weight limit because he'll be able to use it for years! It easily goes up hills and seems very durable!

"BUYER BEWARE OF RETURNS!!
By Gary Delossa
"BUYER BEWARE OF RETURNS!! I ordered this through Amazon, but it was sold by WillyGoat.com. They instructed me to send the item back myself to Peg Perego, which I did - but it cost over $180 (UPS Ground) to ship the $225 toy. (Note: It only cost $41 to ship to me) WillyGoat(the seller), Peg Perego and Amazon all said that they could not help. Don't buy things like this online. Go to Toys R Us if you buy a large toy."
