Skywalker Trampolines 15-ft. Square Trampoline and Enclosure Combo

Product Description

Skywalker 15 Foot Square Trampoline and Enclosure Skywalker 15 Foot Square Trampoline and Enclosure is designed with a heavy gauged galvanized steel frame for years of family outdoor entertainment. This fun square shaped trampoline with enclosure gives more jumping area than a traditional round trampoline. Along with more jumping surface this trampoline includes 84 large coil springs over 7 inch length plus 12 gold color springs 1 inch diameter which are placed in the center of the frame on each side to provide a superior bounce. , Easy Assembly Featuring T-Bracket Technology These trampoline and enclosure systems feature a brand new interlocking T-bracket technology, adding strength at each frame joint. The T-bracket prevents the frame from twisting and makes assembly a snap! , Safety Enclosure Net Included The stay-put safety enclosure net - pre-installed at the factory - attaches at each spring clip eliminating gaps between the jumping mat and net, which are typical concerns with other trampolines. The suspended enclosure netting system protects the jumper from falling off the trampoline.

Great Skywalker Trampoline
By Mike
The Skywalker 15 ft square trampoline is very well constructed and was fairly easy to assemble by following the instructions carefully. It does take a few hours to put together but all parts went together very well. My son and his friends have been using it for more than a month and really enjoy jumping on it almost every day. One of the issues I have found is that several of the ties at the top of the poles on the safety netting sometimes slip down and have to be raised back up and tightened across the top of the poles. Another issue is the button hole feature that is used to connect the mat with the springs does not always stay secure as the openings have stretched and can leave a gap at the edge of the mat. I believe this trampoline is better built and more durable that many others. The price on Amazon was very good for the quality of the trampoline. I read a lot of reviews and considered many other brands before deciding on this one. You need to consider the weight limit, guage of steel, number of springs, safety, durability and appropriate size and shape before buying based on your requirements and budget. The heavier product (shipping weight) is generally the better unit to purchase. I would recommend this trampoline.

A lot of trampoline for the money
By Anderson
We had owned a circular trampoline for a number of years, and rather than replacing all of the parts (besides the frame) we decided it was time to go bigger. We found the best buy on this trampoline through Sam's Club. We paid just under $675.00 after shipping and tax.

It arrived in three large boxes with a total weight around 410lbs. Assembly, as with all projects like this, was a bit tedious and time consuming. The directions were very clearly written. The base is really well designed and makes perfect sense. The netting is good, but it hangs by straps connected to arches in the corners. These straps, no matter how tight I have tightened them, all slide one direction and the end (there are three on each corner) straps slip down frequently. I "fixed" this with a black zip tie on the ones that slip down(unnoticeable). The pads on the netting arches are cheap, thin, and barely a step above leaving the bars bare. I had two sections of this padding (five on each arch) tear when covering the pipes. Thank goodness this unit is designed to keep jumpers off of the springs all together. The pad that covers the springs is as thin and cheap as they come. The foam rubber in it must be less than one inch thick. The covering isn't the nice PVC vinyl; it's the cheap, low quality that you would find in a tarp. I will be surprised if this pad is in good shape at the end of the summer.

The springs attach with the same difficulty/ease as other trampolines. There are 16 larger springs and 70+ smaller springs. The larger springs are to support the middle section and appear to do so adequately. The actual mat size is close to 13'x13' It's still considerably larger than our previous 15' round trampoline. The bounce is good, but not as good as a rectangular trampoline. The major upside of the square trampoline is the length of the diagonals across the mat. This provides adequate room for kids to do shorter tumbling passes.

Pros:
- Size is great
- Frame is well designed
- Assembly is simple, but tedious
- Great value

Cons:
- Netting supports (ties) are a poor design
- Pad (covering the springs) is just flimsy and cheap

Overall:
- Recommended, with the caution that the base of the unit is very well designed but they did cut some corners in order to make a few extra bucks on this one.

Great trampoline
By Beth A. Janus
It took my handy, carpenter husband and I 6 hours to put this thing together - thanks to the unclear directions that had a lack of clear, accurate drawings. However, since it has been up, my daughter and her friend have been on it non-stop! I know it is only rated for 250lbs, but my husband (215 lbs), me (150 lbs) jumped together just fine!!! Great buy! Well worth the $$. Sturdy, big, and the netted enclosure is really nice!
